How do we schedule?

What you bring is up to you. Every person and lesson is unique. Most people bring laptops or textbooks with specific problems or topics they would like to discuss.

 

There are cases where I am requested to produce my own material. This is common when I am teaching music or trying to teach a student in a course they are not currently in. I also occasionally see this when a student runs out of practice problems. If this is the case, please let me know.

It is often very helpful to send material in advance so I can prepare for any topics I might not have seen in a while. This will help me come up with a good game plan for tackling those problems before our meetup and save you time and money.

What's the minimum/maximum time to work with a tutor?

Currently cash, check, Paypal, Venmo, and Cashapp are accepted. Payment may be provided after a session has been completed.

How does payment work?

If it fits on the schedule, we will make something work for you. Long lessons might need to be broken up to reduce fatigue or allow other students a chance to refresh before their test. If a lesson is only a few minutes, it might be requested to be handled online or via phone call. These will be free of charge and only can be squeezed in when time allows. This saves driving time and allows us to better schedule longer sessions.

What subjects are covered?

I have a few videos currently posted on YouTube under Country Chemist Lectures. This will be a work in progress and videos will likely only get posted upon request due to the insane number of topics available.

Currently covering Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Calculus I and II, Physics I and II, Algebra I and II, and other related courses. Feel free to inquire and we will let you know if we are able to assist.

In the past I have learned material for biochemistry, food chemistry, biology, horticulture, entomology, physical chemistry, and music. Sometimes the material is related enough to something else I know. If this ever leads to slowness during our lessons, the rate will be reduced drastically as a thank you for your patience.
